Children:
Thomas II,
Joseph (Big Joe)... a trading card made in 1933 by a Indian gum company with a picture that is supposed to be that of Big Joe Logsdon;
James Vaughn, William, Ann, Prudence, Malinda, Honor and Edward .
==========
Leaving this story here on Thomas' memorial. It is interesting, and about his brother's, William II Logsdon's son, Elisha. Elisha does not have a memorial here on FAG:
Elisha Logsdon, son of William Logsdon II (son of William Logsdon and Honor O'Flynn) and Ann Davis, married Rebecca Howard, daughter of Clement Howard, Sr. After Rebecca died, Elisha married Susannah Baker, a widow, on Dec. 29, 1798, Madison County, Ky. Susannah was married to a certain Mr. Baker, and they lived in the Mammoth Cave area. The Baker home was attacked by Indians, and Mr. Baker and one son was killed and scalped. Susannah and a daughter, Nancy, were captured and carried off. Susannah managed to escape. The Indians took Nancy to their village and held her there for two years. Nancy had flaming red hair. and this fascinated the Indians. They wanted to adopt her into the tribe. They pierced her ears, nine holes in each ear, in preparation of the ceremony. A Mr. Whitlock, an Indian trader, visited the Indian village, and saw Nancy there. He figured she was Nancy Baker, so he paid the Indians $500.00 for her, and returned her to her family.
