| Birth: | 1823 | | Death: | 1905 Lawton Comanche County Oklahoma, USA | Native American Apache Chief. A Warm Springs Apache, he was a well respected voice for peace among his people. His stance was resented by rival Apache chief Geronimo. In 1882, Geronimo used a gun to force Loco off the San Carlos Reservation and join him in his war against the Americans and Mexicans.
