He was a faithful member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church for many years.
Predeceased by:
His parents; nine siblings and one son-in-law: Gale Allen.
Military:
He proudly served our country and was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors:
His wife; one daughter: Debbie Allen; two grandchildren: Whitney (Charlie) Hodges and William (Sarah) Allen; three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Abigale Allen and Liam Hodges; several nieces and nephews; a "son by choice": Bobby Whaley (Sheila, Heather, Greg, and Justin); a host of extended family and many special friends.

Funeral service held Friday, June 5, 2015 at 7:00 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Dan King and Rev. Curtis Wells officiating.
