William Henry Bradford was born in Indiana. He married Sarah Edith Leakey there in 1883 and they later moved with other family members to Eagle Rock, Missouri. He was the father of three children with Sarah. They later divorced and he then moved to San Juan County, Utah. He died there in 1920 after never having fully recovered from catching the Spanish Influenza in 1919.
