Born Oct. 12, 1921, in Finley, s/o John Adrian and Anna Mae (Gephart) Cecil.
Married Doris Banta on Jan. 28, 1962, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 18, 1995.
Survivors; [all living].
Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
Retired in 1980 from Naval Avionics in Indianapolis,30 years of service.
U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Graduated from Moral High School in 1940.
Member of the Eagles Lodge No. 766 and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Rev. Harvey Weaver officiating.
Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery; military rites conducted by the local veterans organizations.
