Andrew Jackson Landreth enlisted 10 Oct 1862 at Saltville. He served as a Pvt. in Company B, 45th Virginia Infantry during the U.S. Civil War.
He was reported AWOL 6 March 1864.
Andrew was captured 6 June 1864 at Piedmont and taken prisoner to Camp Morton, Indianapolis, Indiana.
He died in prison of pneumonia, 2 March 1865.
