Angie married and had two daughters with Peter Irvin Hall.
After that marriage she had two sons with Carl Kenneth Cowan.
Angie left her home in May of 1985 and her family did not hear from her again. But hundreds of people in Newton, Baker County, Georgia cared for her from the the 24th of May when she fell from a moving tanker truck on an Interstate until she died on July 1st. The community of Newton has been caring for her grave as Jane Doe in the Newton City Cemetery and searching for her family ever since.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Baker County Sheriff's Department, and numerous cold case and missing person organizations (even internationally) have been searching for her.
January of 2023, her family was notified that a DNA match was made and now Jane Doe can be known as Mary Anga Hammett Hall Cowan. Comfort and peace after over 37 years.
