Mark Gregg was born on September 25, 1981 in Solana Beach, California, USA as Mark Robert James Gregg. He was an actor, known for The Pacific and Eddy (2007) and Knowing What You Don't (2013). He died on July 24, 2007 in Hollywood, California.

In a tragic and fatal incident, Mark was shot multiple times in Hollywood by police officers. Mark, the father of a four-year-old daughter, had been a resident of the house outside where he was killed for about three and a half months.

After graduating from Torrey Pines High School where he discovered a passion and gift for acting, he studied acting at North Carolina School of the Arts and at the University of San Francisco. He appeared in SF locally on stage. He also acted on stage in L.A. He was in the independent film, The Pacific and Eddy. Among several stage roles, the most poignant was perhaps Hamlet in "Hamlet".

Survivors include his daughter, Gracie Hopkins; parents, Robert and Judith Gregg; sisters, Nancy Corran and Sally Harris; and brothers, Billy Gregg and Kelly Gregg.
