Celia Zanot, 72, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1995, at her Prescott, Home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1923, in Prescott to Louis and Virginia (Marchello) Zanot.
Ms. Zanot graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Prescott. She worked for the Arizona Pioneers' Home for more than 33 years. Ms. Zanot was a people person, always thinking of others, friends and family state. She would go to work early, so that the graveyard shift and the morning shift could have coffee; she always had something for the early rising residents each morning. Even in retirement, she would return to the home and visit her many friends there. Ms. Zanot was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Hughes of Phoenix; Nieces, Dena Trangsrud of Phoenix, Nancy Jordan of Seattle, and Lynda Mains of New Orleans; Grand nephew, Chris Trangsrud of Phoenix, and sister-in-law, Ann Zanot of Flagstaff.
Rosary services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Cortez at Carleton, in Prescott. Father Joseph Neuvo will officiate.
Final commendation and graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
