Mrs. Donald of Havre Dies Here
Mrs. Ben J. (Berta) Donald, 67, a Havre resident for nearly 50 years, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 22, 1895, in Nebraska. She and her husband have lived since 1914 in Havre, where he was employed by the Great Northern Railway until his retirement two years ago.
Survivors include the widower; daughters, Mrs. Stella Lawlar, Red Lodge; Mrs. Ethel Christianson and Mrs. Edith Christianson, both of Havre; and Mrs. Evelyn Beck, Kremlin; brothers, Rudolph and Art Reider, both of Havre; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Otto and Mrs. Freida Harman, Spokane; 17 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
