She was born in Osier, Mich., daughter of William and Eva (Lalonde) Lancour.
Phyllis was married to Victor DeRouin for 58 years. He preceded her in death.

She was survived by: sons, Terry (Mary) DeRouin, Darrell (Tom Knoll) DeRouin and Tim (Wendy) DeRouin; daughters, Beth (Wayne) Peterson, Vickie (Gary) Gustafson, Renee Posenke and Paula (Marc) Marenger; 12 grandchildren, James (Alaina) DeRouin, Daniel (Angie) DeRouin, Darrell DeRouin Jr., Andrew DeRouin, Michelle DeRouin, Travis (Rachel) Gustafson, Gary Gustafson Jr., James Posenke, Marsha Posenke, Shaun (Crystal) Marenger, Danielle (Jason) Kallio, and Dustin Marenger; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Lurline Pepin, Theresa Deiter, Wanda Orvia and Rita Aho; and brothers, Wayne and Irving "Thomas" Lancour.
