Bonnie Lou Johnson Hill, age 78, of Ririe, passed away at her home Thursday May 14, 2015,
Bonnie was born May 22, 1936 at Ririe, Idaho a daughter to Narvel Scott Johnson and Sadie Cleova Durrant Johnson. She was raised in the Ririe area. She attended schools in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School.
She married Verdale E Hill December 15, 1953 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Primary and Relief Society organizations. She worked at Pro Ida Foods, fresh potato warehouses and farmed with her husband Verdale in the Ririe Rigby areas. She enjoyed reading, camping with her family and weekend rides.
She is survived by two daughters: Brenda (Lou) Fullerton of Rigby and Loretta Johnson of Idaho Falls, two sons; Ivan Hill and Blair Hill both of Rigby, three brothers; Wydell (Janet) Johnson, Terry (Jolene) Johnson and Timmie (Diane) Johnson all of Ririe, 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son Bruce.
Funeral services will be held Monday May 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe Perry Ward Building 285 2nd West, Ririe with Bishop Justin Miller conducting. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
