Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or American Heart Association.
Born March 3, 1915, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wood Dennis and Nora Sinnett Dennis. On April 25, 1936, in Marshall, she married J. Dorance Ford, who preceded her in death May 14, 2001. She had lived in Marshall since 1976, moving from St. Louis. She managed Princess Hosiery Shop in Kansas City and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Marshall.
Survivors include one brother, J.W. Dennis of Buckner; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
