Paul Raymond Walker, 84, of Wray, formerly of Greeley, died Thursday, May 12, at Cedardale Health Care Center, Wray.

He was born June 23, 1909, in o, to Charles Ernest and Dora Elizabeth Walker.

On Nov. 22, 1931, he married Martha Mildred Rhoadarmer west of Pierce. She died Jan. 16, 1990.

When Mr. Walker was a boy, the family homesteaded a farm west of Pierce, where he also attended school and met Martha. After many years of farming and dairying around the Pierce-Ault area, he retired first in Greeley, and then in 1975, in Wray, where the couple built a new home. They lived there until Martha's death in 1990, and failing heath forced him to move to the Cedardale Facility in July 1993.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, and the Disciples of Christ.

Survivors are three sons, Lenard of Flagstaff, Ariz., Kenneth of Wray, and Harry of Eckley; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment was held at Sunset Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Paul Walker Memorial Fund in care of Adamson Mortuary.--Greeley Tribune, May 18, 1994
