Lee S Neville, 69, of 29 Hillside St., former operator of Neville Music Co. for 23 years, died Friday morning in Buncombe County hospital.
Mr. Neville was a native of Halifax County and a son of the late Richard and Nina Britt Neville. He had been a resident of Asheville since the early 1920's.
Mr. Neville was a member and former steward of St. Paul's Methodist Church and a member of the Men's Bible Class and Men's Brotherhood of the church.
Services will be held at 11 am Saturday in St. Paul's Methodist Church.
The Rev. Dr. L. R. Akers, pastor, will officiate. The body will be taken to Enfield for further services and burial there.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Hannah, Buford Mardis, Cecil Lassiter, Ernest Weaver, Charles Enman and Charles Richardson.
Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Mildred Easterling of Bennettsville, SC; three brothers, J.P. and N.G., both of Enfield, and T.W. of Norfolk, Va.; four sisters, Miss Lula Neville, Mrs. Robert Ivey and Mrs. J.J. Burt, all of Enfield, and Mrs. J.A. Eshelman Jr. of High Point; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Morris-Herndon-Black Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
