A TIME TO LOVE...
Alice married William "Bill" Shellhamer on 18 June,1954 in Brewer, Maine.
To this union,7 children were born... Helen, Cindy, William, Jr, Arthur, Kurt, Beth and Marie. Her husband William passed away on 20 January,1990 in Bangor, Maine.
A TIME TO DIE...
Alice departed this life on 29 April,2015 in Bangor, Maine at the age of 77.
A TIME TO REMEMBER...
Alice leaves behind her children, Helen, Cindy, Arthur, Kurt, Beth and Marie,11 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother. She was predeceased by her husband William, her son William Jr,1 grandson, her parents,4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Alice along w/her beloved husband William was interred at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota. Military honors was provided by the Ellsworth Air Force Base and the Sturgis Volunteer Honor Guard. Mr. and Mrs. Shellhamer were escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders from their daughter Beth's home in Deadwood to the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
Services were on Friday 8 September,2017 at 1:30p.m. at the rotunda at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
