DIED.
VANOSDOL—On the 4th day of August, 1877, Craig E., son of Madison and Cornelia A. Vanosdol, age 14 year, 3 months and 15 days.
Also, on the 3rd day of September, 1877, Mattie Elizabeth, daughter of Madison and Cornelia A. Vanosdol, age 11 years, 8 months and 25 days.
Both were buried in the King burying ground, the funeral services being conducted by the writer. There were large and attentive congregations on both occasions,, showing a large circle of friends and relatives, all sympathizing deeply with the aged parents, now left entirely alone. We commend the bereaved ones to a merciful and sympathizing Savior, who said "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven.
