On the first of December in the year of the Lord 1719 he entered into the state of holy matrimony with Anna Broders, which yielded 3 daughters. At the age of 33 years and 3 weeks he peacefully passed away on the 15th of October in the year of the Lord 1729. Here also lies his eldest daughter Stjencke Bentje, who was born in the year of the Lord 1721, on the 19th of July, and died on the 30th of December in the year of the Lord 1728, at the age of 7 years and 22 weeks."
