Sammy Daniel Allen, 19, died Thursday, May 18, 1978, at the Taylor County Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Taylor County, born here August 8,1958, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Creed T. Allen of 210 Meader Street. Survivors include his parents Mr.and Mrs. Creed T. Allen of 210 Meader Street; one brother; Charles Thomas Allen of Campbellsville; and three sisters; Mary Jean Goode, Jewellene Shipp, and Ruby Aliene Rice, all of Campbellsville. Funeral services were held at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 20, with the Rev. Thurman Eaton officiating. Interment followed in Otter Creek Separete Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were : Bobby Beams, Roger Corbin, David Corbin, Ronnie Brown, David Bell Junior Beams
