Jimmy Wayne Spires, age 75, a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Lenoir City, Tenn., went to be with his Heavenly Father at 8:10 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2015.

Jim was a devoted husband to his wife of 55 years, Mary Spires; father of Darin and Gina Spires and Duane and Shelly Spires; grandfather to Dustin and Jessie Spires and Brooke Spires; and great-grandfather to Colson Spires.

He was a son of the late Horace “Sparky” and Emma Spires; brother to Harrison Spires, Wanda Kenner, Frances Waters, Dorothy Davis and the late William “Bill” Spires.

Jim was loved by so many and blessed to have so many friends and loved ones in his life. He will be missed here on earth, but welcomed to a great reunion in Heaven.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev. Dean Bandy officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Monday in the Hickory Valley Cemetery for graveside services.
