Nancy Harding Combs was the daughter of Henry Harding II and Wilmouth George. She married John Combs, son of Mason Combs and Sarah Harding Richardson. They came to Perry Co. with their sons around 1795. They settled at the mouth of White Oak Creek which is now called Defiance.
