She was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania on Aug. 22, 1921, to John Rhodes Drennen and Adeline (Dight) Drennen.
She married Claude L. "Bud" Grossman on Oct. 2, 1943. He preceded her in death on Mar. 2, 1985. She was a homemaker.
She was the longest-living member of the North Liberty Presbyterian Church, where she was in the choir for many years and where she had sung at many weddings and special occasions. She and her brother, Tom Drennen, joined the church on the same day.
he enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting and other forms of needlework. She was an animal lover.
She is survived by one son, Patrick L. Grossman of Grove City, PA; one daughter, Pamela L. Uber & husband C. Edward of Slippery Rock; one sister, Jacqueline J. & husband Wilfred "Bill" Lippert of Conneaut Lake, PA, 4 grandchildren Gloria Nicole Perample & husband Neil, Matthew Lawrence Grossman, Derek Edward Uber and Devin Lawrence Uber; and 2 great-grandchildren, Rowan Anthony & Karis Nicole Perample.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Bud"; and brother, Thomas R. Drennen.
GROSSMAN: The family of Emma Louise "Weezie" Grossman, who died Wed. April 15, 2015 will receive friends at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock on Sat. from 2-4 pm with the Rev. Jeff Harter of the Family Hospice and Palliative Care presiding.
Interment will be in the North Liberty Cemetery following the funeral service.
