Arne Jensen Folden, a younger brother of Ole J. Folden, was born July 16, 1838 in Norway. (They immigrated to America about 1883.) He and his wife and family lived in Calumet, Michigan for five years before coming to Marshall County in June, 1888, where he homesteaded land in New Folden Township in Section 6.
