Mattie Bagwell Rites Held Today
KENEFIC - Funeral services were held in the Kenefic Methodist church at 2:30 p.m. today for Mrs. Mattie Bagwell, Kenefic resident, who died in a Durant nursing home Wednesday at the age of 91. Services were conducted by Rev. John Smith, and burial, under direction of Murray Funeral service, was in the Caddo cemetery.
Mrs. Bagwell was born in McFall, Ala., January 1, 1872 and was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include two brothers, John Sims, Hot Springs, Ark., and Bob Sims, Daingerfield, Texas; and a sister, Mrs. Beuna Herring, Laird Hill, Texas.
