PROVO (UTAH) ^EV NING SERVICES FOR WILFORD GILES Funeral services were held Sunday for Wilford F. Giles, deputy warden of the state prison, in the Wasatch ward chapel, Salt Lake City, followed by brief graveside services ir the Provo Burial Park where interment took place. Speakers who paid tribute to the sterling qualities of Mr. Giles, veteran public officer, were Governor Henry H. Blood, R. E. Davis, former warden who was associated with Mr. Giles for 12 years; President M. O. Ashton of the Highland stake and Bishop George Nelson of the Edgehill ward, who conducted the services. A. R. Curtis offered the invocation and Patriarch James Paxman of the Highland stake pronounced the benediction. The floral offerings were most profuse and an overflow crowd attended the services. Beautiful musical numbers were sung by Salt Lake City talent, including" the choral society of the ward. J. Will Knight of Provo paid tribute to Mr. Giles at the services in Provo and Mrs. Sarah Ramsay, sang a solo, "We Shall Meet Our Loved Ones There," accompanied by Mrs. Vei-a Peterson. • The grave was dedicated by Bishop Thomas A. Wheeler of the Sugarhouse ward. Pall bearers were six oldest grandsons of Mr. Giles, Harold, Ray and Elmo Henrichsen, Wilford and J. Robert Gillespie and Dick Boshard.
