MENA — Wallace "Bud" Willard Reid, 69, of Mena died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, in a Mena hospital. He was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Mena, and was a retired master sergeant of the Air Force, a cattle rancher and member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge and Christian Church.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home Chapel in Mena with burial at Owens Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owens Chapel Cemetery Fund.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; one daughter, Debra Young of Mena; one son, Scott Reid of Mena; three sisters, Norma Collins of Hagerstown, Md., Judy Pridgin of Bixby, Okla., and Patricia Ramos of Owasso, Okla., and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Reid, Lee Pridgin, Ron Ramos, Bobby Lott, Bob Fowler and Andy Basgall.
