WORLD WAR II MILITARY SERVICE:
Private First Class, U.S. Army, Co. 58 HQ, 376th Inf. Enlisted at Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania on 5 May 1943. Honorably Discharged at Fort Dix, New Jersey, 31 March 1946.

AFTER THE WAR

According to his obituary in the 30 May 1995 edition of the Patriot News, Ralph Bixler a resident of Spring Glen at the time of his death at his home at age 75. A retired, formerly self-employed truck driver, he had previously resided in Valley View.

A member of the American Legion and VFW Post and fire Companies of Valley View and Sacramento, he was also a member of St. Andrews UM Church.

He was survived by his wife, Naomi Lohr Bixler, a stepdaughter, Judene Bixler, and a step-grandson.

INTERMENT

Interred at St. John's Cemetery (Frieden's) in Hegins, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania on 1 June 1995. Funeral Arrangements: Buffington Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pennsylvania.
