Widow of [John] J.L. Long, she was a daughter of Merritt H. Corn and Annie Bell (Jackson) Corn.
She had lived in the Clarksville and Paris areas since her marriage in 1912, and was a member of the Holiness church.
The rev. James Sims officiated at the service in Fry & Gibbs Chapel, Sep. 9; burial was in Providence Cemetery.
Mrs. Long is survived by seven children: Mrs. Billy Wear, Blossom; Mrs. Cleo Gaines, Rt. 2, Lewisville; Houston Long, Rt. 2, Detroit; Johnny Long, Nacogdoches; Bill and Tom Long, Lufkin; and Charlie Long, Brookston; and 49 other descendants; and a brother, W.C. (Bill) Corn, Paris.
