Attend Funeral In a Body.
At a meeting of the trustees of the
Amsterdam. Savings hank, held this
morning, the following memorial was
unanimously adopted:
For twenty-five years our deceased i
associate,. John Kavanagh, has been a
valued trustee of this bank' During
all these years he has performed his
duties faithfully and conscientiously,
rarely missing a meeting of this board.
For many year he-haft-been-a member
of the finance committee, where his
excellent Judgment and knowledge meeting of this board.
For-many year he-haft been a member
of the finance committee, where his

real property has been of Inestimable
value to this institution. He was uniformly
courteous, cheerful, and considerate
of the feelings and wishes of
those with whom he came in contact.
His zcaloiiB efforts during the quarter
of a century he was a member of this
institution helped to bring it to Its
present financial standing. In his
dealings with his fellow men he was
kind hearted, unselfish and always
eager to aid anyone in distress or to
assist them in any way in his power.
Few men take as great an Interest in
any institution as he has in the up building
of this bank, and his absence
will be regretted and mourned as that
of a faithful friend throughout the
memory of his associates. l
