Funeral services for Linda Brinson Bell, 64, will be held four p.m. Tuesday,
October 2 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Larry Davis and Floyd Dukes
officiating, with burial at The Williston Cemetery. The family will receive
friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family has
requested that memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 128
Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210-1790 or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 215 E. Bay
St., Charleston, SC 29401. Linda died on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
Born in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Walter Brinson and Kathryn
Hutto Brinson. Linda formerly worked for the SC Regional Housing Authority in
Barnwell, Color Marks of Williston and Bolen Buildings & Supply of
Blackville. She was a member of Elko Baptist Church and Fidelis Sunday School class.
Linda loved fishing, reading and learning about history. She was married to
the late John A. (Johnny) Bell.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Kaye B. Croft of Williston; stepdaughter
Mrs. Joan B. (Richard) McKinney of Augusta; a niece Wanda Croft; nephews
Kevin, Walter and Andy Croft; brother-in-law Sammy Croft; an aunt Mrs. Ada Mae
Hutto, a number of great nieces and nephews and a step-grandson John Coley
Bell.
Predeceased in death by Walter Luther Brinson, John E. (Bubba) Bell and
Jennifer Bell.
