Austin attended Tekamah-Herman Community Schools at Herman Elementary.. He was a model student at school, and enjoyed his friends and activities. He was a member of the Tekamah Herman Cub Scout Pack #158. He loved his family first and was kind, loyal and devoted. His second love was his motorcycle. Austin also enjoyed climbing trees, fishing, boating, woodworking and watermelon.

Austin was a very loving son, brother and grandson. He had a quiet, mild personality and was helpful, a hard worker and was grateful for everything. Austin planned to be an electrical engineer, liked motors along with building things with his hands.

Austin passed away from injuries sustained in an ATV accident south of Herman, NE.

Survivors include his parents, Wes & Lisa; 3 brothers and 3 sisters; grandparents; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, July 8, 2010, 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1318 K Street, in Tekamah.
VISITATION: Wednesday, July 7, 2010, 4 - 8 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah. Visitation Thursday will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
BURIAL: Herman Cemetery, Herman, Nebraska.
