Hugh Allen Monger, age 94, departed this earth March 11, 2015 to be with his Lord.

He was a faithful and dedicated member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran with seven years of service. He served on the USS Badger, USS Arkansas, and the USS Everett F Larson, receiving many awards and medals.

He is survived by: Loving Wife, Marion; Daughter, Deborah; Step-daughters, Eula, Phyllis, and Cheryl; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; Dedicated friends, Pastor Charlie Carpenter, Renee & J.P. Blair, and wonderful church family.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Friday, March 13, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM at Hickory Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Carpenter officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Hickory Valley Baptist Church Missions Fund, 3920 W Lamar Alexander Pkwy Lenoir City, TN 37772.
