Theda R. Plummer, 85, of Grants Pass died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at an adult foster care home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 9 at Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Home with David Mathis of River Valley Community Church officiating. Private interment was at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Contributions may be made to any of the agencies that provide relief to hurricane victims in the Southeast.

Plummer was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Bakersfield, Calif. On June 1, 1951, in San Bernardino, Calif., she married Willard H. "Bill" Plummer, who survives. She was the head of the bookkeeping department at the 7-Up bottling plant in San Bernardino for 28 years. In 1995, she and her husband moved to Grants Pass.

She was a member of River Valley Community Church. She enjoyed fishing, reading, traveling and gardening.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a nephew, Jack Upton of Barstow, Calif.
