John F. Seeley, 74, died yesterday at his home, 21 Croydon road. Born in Middlebury, Vt., son of Charlie and Frances (Champlin) Seeley, he had lived in Worcester 50 years, and was a member of the Pleasant Street Baptist Church.
He leaves two sons, J. Foster Seeley, Jr. of Washington, D.C., and C. Philip Seeley of Garwood, N.J.; a daughter Frances E., wife of William B. Wade of Worcester; two sisters, Miss Delia L. Seeley, and Mrs. Ray L. Fisher of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a brother, Edward S. Seeley of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Longstreet Memorial Chapel at a time to be announced. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, West Boylston.
