Martin Moloney, a 1st cousin of my grandfather's was born in Blind Street, Tipperary, Co. Tipperary Ireland on May 20th 1908. His father was Cornelius Moloney a carpenter and his mother was Catherine Breen. He had brothers James b1903, Cornelius b1905 and John b1910. In 1930 Martin emigrated from Ireland to New York City. In 1937 he obtained his citizenship papers (Naturalisation). He worked as a tunnel driller. In 1962 he was based in Swanton Vermont digging tunnels for an ICBM misile site. He fell ill and died in hospital in Vermont. His body was brought back to NYC for burial. He was unmarried and didn't have any children.
