DAVIS, DENA MAE AYERS - age 102, of LaFollette, passed away Wednesday night, May 7, 2003, at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County.
She was a member of Davis Chapel Community Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by parents, Huston and Lettie (Bolton) Ayers; son, Thornal E. Davis, and brothers, Marshall, Everett and Minor Ayers.
She is survived by grandson, Edward L. Davis of LaFollette; special sister-in-law, Winona Chapman; brother, Coy Ayers of Jacksboro, several nieces, nephews, and a host of
friends.
Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Cross Funeral Home, Rev. Earl Chapman and Rev. Darryl Edwards officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at Davis Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 til 8 p.m. Friday, prior to the funeral service. Arrangements by Cross Funeral Home.
