Ralph Paul
Birth: Oct. 11, 1920
Death: Nov. 28, 1987

Television Personality. A native of Denver, Colorado, Paul was the announcer for the popular variety show, "The Ed Sullivan Show" from 1964 to 1971. Paul also was announcer for the game shows, "Strike It Rich" from 1951 to 1955, "Two For The Money" from 1952 to 1957, "What's My Line?" in 1961, "Dotto" in 1958, and "Number Please" in 1961, which was an early version of "Wheel Of Fortune." A veteran of World War II, he served as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps. Paul at time was also the General Manager for the college radio station WHPC based in Garden City, New York. (bio by: K)
