AGE: 84 • Elkton, MD

Josephine B. Wrzesinski, 84, of Elkton, Maryland and formerly of Bayonet Point, Florida and Deer Park, Long Island, New York passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

Born on October 18, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Wasiak) Barylewski.

Throughout her married life, Josephine loved being a homemaker and took great pride in raising her two daughters. She was most proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed sharing Polish traditions with her family. While living in New York, Josephine cherished the time she spent working as a teacher and principal of the Polish Supplementary School in Hempstead, New York.

Active in the Polish community for years, she enjoyed her position as recording secretary of the Polish American Social Club in Hudson, FL.

Josephine will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Babci and dear friend to many. Although she will be dearly missed by many, memories of her will be cherished forever.

In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roman I. Wrzesinski. She is survived by two daughters, Joann W. Bachmura (Stan) of Bear, DE and Lori W. Toto (Michael) of Alpharetta, GA and four grandsons, Mark and Adam Gimbl and Raymond and Ryan Toto.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 209 Washington Street, Delaware City, Delaware, where friends may visit with Josephine's family from 10:00 -11:00 am. Interment will be held privately at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Pauls RC Church, PO Box 544, Delaware City, DE 19706-0544 or to the Polish American Social Club of Pasco County, P. O. Box 5333, Hudson, FL 34667.
