William T. Elder, who at one time made his home in this city, died recently at his home in Louisville, following a lingering illness of a complication of diseases. He was 69 ears old, Funeral and burial took place in Louisville.
Surviving Mr. Elder are his wife, Mrs. Stella Edelen Elder; one son Spalding Elder; three daughters, Misses Josephine, Mary Catherine, and Willie Mae Elder; his aged mother, Mrs. Mary Elder; one sister Miss Mary Elder; five brothers, G. R. and Joe Elder, of Louisville, Rev. Spalding Elder, of Lima, Ohio, and John Elder of Taylorsville.
During the time Mr. Elder and family resided in Lebanon they made many friends, all of whom learned of his death with sorrow.
