Thell Boatright, widely known 71 year old Van Buren resident died eary Thursday morning at a Fort Smith hospital after a short illness. Mr. Boatright was born in Van Buren on March 24, 1880, and had lived here all his life. His home was at 15 Fayetteville Street, where he ran his real estate business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church here. Survivors include two daughters; four brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday morning May 26 at 10 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, Rev T. H. Jordan, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Men's Bible class of the First Baptist Church.
