Obituary
Services for James "Buddy" Whisenhunt, 83, of Fruitvale are scheduled for 10 am Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. James Massey and Bro. Gary Vaughn officiating.

Visitation will be 4-6 pm Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Fisher, Gerald Sizemore, Frank Dinsmore, Raymond Jones, Gene Walker and Phillip Langston.

Mr. Whisenhunt passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, in Quitman. He was born May 12, 1931 in Van Zandt County to John William and Erma Irene Saxton Whisenhunt.

Mr. Whisenhunt grew up in Grand Saline. He lived in Irving for several years and then moved to Fruitvale. Buddy was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Grand Saline and retired from Morton Salt.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Bea Whisenhunt; his parents; 3 brothers: Harold, Billy and Jerry Don Whisenhunt; and a sister, Faye Marie Douthit.
