Cacelia Abron September 13, 1950- May 11, 2006 COLUMBUS, GA— Cacelia Abron, 55, departed this life Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the Medical Center. Daughter of Mr. Eulas Horne, Jr. and the late Gussie Collins Horne, Mrs. Abron was born in Muscogee County, on September 13, 1950 where she lived and worked in Columbus all of her life. She attended Spencer High School and was a retired meat wrapper and cosmetology. She took unto her a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Thomas Abron. They have shared 36 years of marriage until her death. Cacelia was a caregiver to many friends in the surrounding area and was loved by everyone. She adored and loved many children and focused on her family and friends. A loving sister, Miss Boncee Horne, and a loving nephew, Eulas Horne IV preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Abron; her father, Eulas Horne, Jr.; three brothers, Eulas Horne III (Judy), Tonya Horne (Takashia) and Shannon Horne; three sisters, Barcenia Gibbons (Willie), Mcquetta Carter (George) and Valesser Benford (Jerry); her mother-in-law, Mrs. Carrie Collins; sister-in-law, Clementine Rivers, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, 1 p.m. in the chapel of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends and the cortege will depart from 3012 Fontaine Drive the day of the funeral.
