Polly Ann Forrester


Polly Ann Forrester, 79, of Monroe, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015.

She was born on March 26, 1935, to Jewell Hicks Newman and Arthur Newman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles C. Forrester; son, Jack Winter; stepsons, Jimmy Winter and Chuck Forrester; and brother, Jessie Newman.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Shore, of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Winter, of Summerville; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Barbara and Jack Yousack, of Ohio; stepson and step-daughters-in-law, Skeeter and Denise Cleaton, Linda Winter and Becky Forrester; brother, Phil Newman, of Jersey; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Newman, of Talapoosa; as well as eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Conner and the Rev. Paul Holcombe officiating. Burial followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.
