Marine Pfc. David P. Burridge, 19, of Lafayette, La.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; killed Sept. 6 due to enemy action in Anbar province, Iraq. David attended Lafayette High School. He is survived by his parents, George and Yvette. He was always a good kid, the kind you wish, in the world, that he would be here a long, long time.
