Loving husband of Charlotte M. (nee Kakacek) Kennedy of Naperville, whom he married September 10, 1949, beloved father of Katherine A. Kennedy, Charles J. (Katherine) Kennedy, Patrick M. (Leslie A.) Kennedy and May E. (William E.) McWade, adored grandfather of ten, cherished great-grandfather of one, devoted son of the late George and Eileen (nee Duffy) Kennedy, dear brother of Eileen (Norm) Smith, John "Jack" Kennedy and the late Mary Ellen (the late Joe) Campagna, fond uncle of many.
Bud served in the U.S. Navy as a frogman during World War II. After the war he lived in Cicero and began a long career as a car salesman and sales manager at many dealerships in the Chicago area. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Naperville and a former member of St. Pius X, Lombard. Bud enjoyed walking, watching the Chicago Bears and White Sox and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation Sunday, December 2, 1:00-5:00 P.M. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
Services will begin Monday, December 3, 10:30 A.M. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter & Paul Church, 36 N. Ellsworth St., Naperville. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
