AILEEN A. GODSIL
Aileen Anna Godsil died May ? 2007 at age 94. She was born November 5, 1912 in Neeleyville, Ill., to Minnie and Fred Weiss.
She was a lifelong Lutheran, member of Grace Lutheran for 40 plus years. She was also an avid quilter. Her children and grandchildren benefited with beautiful quilts made with love. She will be remembered for her delicious pies and home cooked meals. She loved to travel with her husband, having made their dream trip to England and Ireland in the 70's. She loved sports, especially basketball. She has been a huge Trail Blazer fan since the beginning of their franchise.
She is survived by her sons, William (Eleanor) Godsil of Bluffs, Ill., Paul (Jan) Godsil, Dennis (Kathy) and Kevin (Sandé), all of Vancouver, WA; daughters, Sandra Miller of Ammon, Idaho, Marsha LeMaster (Jim) of Ferndale, WA and Alanna Nevenner (Terry) of Vancouver, WA; 26 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be Sunday, May 20, 2007, 5pm-9pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. A funeral will be May 21, 2007, at 10am, at Grace Lutheran Church, 9900 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver. Donations may be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House.
