Homer Lee Andrews was born in Atlanta, Texas, son of William Walter and Savnnah Young Andrews. He grew up in Arkansas but moved to the Livingston & Onalaska area to work in a sawmill. There he met and married Pauline Campbell. They had five children, Norvel Lee, Margaret, Helen Marie, Judson Lewis and Betty Joyce Andrews. Some years after their marraige, he went to work for the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor. He was known as "Pappaw" to his 15 grandchildren. His two sons are buried in this same cemetery.
