FUNERAL FOR ROSE PETERSEN IS TUESDAY
Rose Petersen of Hooper, died at the Fremont Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 27, at 2 p.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Visitation is at the church until 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Rev. Curtis Benson will officiate with burial in the Hooper Cemetery under the direction of the Warne Funeral Home in Hooper.

Rose Petersen was born May 23, 1893 at Omaha. She lived in the Herman area with Hans and Bertha Larsen. She was married on April 8, 1916 in Omaha to Emil Petersen. They farmed in the Herman-Hooper area for many years. He died on April 11, 1951.

Mrs. Petersen was active in various community organizations and the LCW of her church.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters. They are: Victor of Hooper and Dean of Herman; Mrs. Howard (Bertha) Olson of Uehling and Mrs. Gladys Larson of Fremont.

Brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Olga Montague, of Seal Beach, California; Mrs. Inger Chartier, Torrington, Wyoming; and Mrs. Ida Gibson of Torrington, Wyoming.

There are 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Willis Bopp and Mr. Charles Landholm.

Pallbearers were Dale Larson, Duane Larson, Raymond Olson, Charles Petersen, Mark Petersen and Gale Peterson.
