George Kauffman Dies at Hospital in Denver

George A Kauffman, 67, of 1265 Garfield ave., a retired farmer, passed away at 4 a.m. today at General Rose Memorial hospital in Denver. He had been ill for the past 10 days with uremic poisoning and a heart condition.

His parents were Conrad and Ann Batt Kauffman, and he was born July 18, 1877. He was a member of the Congregational church in which he was treasurer at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; five daughters, Mrs. John Greenwaldt of Denver; Mrs. Harold Winters of Toppenish, Wash.; Mrs. Sam Schaffer of Berthoud; Mrs. Lyle Shotwell of Laramie, Wyo.; and Mrs. George Gottoes of Denver; three sons, Elmer of Mead; Raymond of Keensburg, and Harold of Loveland; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lydia Kauffman of Keenesburg.

Arrangements will be announced later by the Kibbey Funeral home.
