Anyone that has experienced the loss of a loved one can testify to the full spectrum of emotions surrounding the loss. That is why it is so hard to sum up that life in a few short paragraphs. Deciding what to put in and what to leave out to help the reader understand the importance of the bond created by this life and everyone it touched.
James Paul Morrow, age 41, was called home by Our Heavenly Father May 15, 2000. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Jay Allison Jr. and Robert Wayne Allison, as well as his biological father Jimmy Jay Allison. James leaves behind his wife Wanda, one daughter Brandy Leeann Triplett, one grandson Zackary Weslie Brian Triplett, his parents; John Elmer and Jaye Louise Morrow, one brother; Ronald Lee Morrow and wife Gaylene of Paintsville KY, four sisters; Linda Colleen Bostic of Mesa, AZ, Sandra Arlene Gray and husband Glen of Louisa KY, Kathryn Louise Morrow Webb and husband Heath of Fort Gay WV and Kimberly June Morrow of Louisa KY. He also leaves behind four nephews; Ronald Jason Morrow and wife Laura, Jonathan Daniel Morrow and wife Elizabeth, Sonny Jay Tickle Jr. and Jonathon "Derek" Morrow, five nieces; Jamie Rae Gore and husband Jesse, Gena Lynne Bostic, Carla Louise Frazier, Amanda Lee Frazier, and Cindy Sanderson and husband Steve, one great-nephew Joshua, son of Jonathan and one great-niece Allison, daughter of Cindy, as well as many other distant family members and numerous friends and loved ones.
James drove truck for a living and was known by many of his co-workers and fellow truckers as "T-Bolt" or "Thunder", which was short for Thunderbolt. Just like a thunderbolt leaves a lasting mark on whatever it touches, James left his mark on every life he touched. He was hard-working, dedicated to family and friends, honest and loyal almost to a fault. He was proud and courageous. He was easy to anger but quick to forgive. He had an odd sense of humor that only those closest to him were allowed to enjoy. He was always fair to both friend and foe. He had a glimmer in his eye and an unbreakable spirit. He was many different things to many different people but the one thing shared by all who knew him is that he will be greatly missed!
Our earthly loss is surely heaven's gain……until we meet again on heaven's crystal shore, you are in our hearts, our thoughts, and our memories….we love you!
